Robert Calvin Mays is announcing his candidacy for re-election for the Board of Aldermen for the city of Eupora Ward 1.

"I appreciate the vote of confidence that the citizens placed in me to serve as your representative," he said.

"If re-elected I will continue to work with the mayor and other aldermen to help make our city a safe and comfortable place to live," May continued. "I will continue to work to try to bring jobs and more recreation for our youth and adults. In the midst of economic crisis I will strive to make things better for the citizens of the city and the county of Webster."

He concluded, "On June 2, I humbly ask for your vote and support. May God bless us all is our prayer."
