Mark your calendars for Dec. 3 and 4 to visit the community Christmas celebration during the Webster County Christmas Market Festival in Eupora's historic Main Street district.
This year's theme, "Christmas in the Southland," will be reflected in decoration, hospitality and events in downtown Eupora.
The market, which will run from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days, will feature Mississippi artists (pottery, watercolors, acrylics and porcelains), retail and homemade goods vendors (holiday food, specialty crafts and décor). They will have an indoor marketplace and will be on hand to offer customers the best selection for their Christmas shopping.
Treat your child to a horse-drawn carriage tour of Eupora's historic residential residential district. A Children's Village will be provided where children can enjoy holiday activities and crafts while market-goers shop.
Come celebrate the beauty of the South at the Miss Merry Christmas Pageant on Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. in Eupora High School's Latham Auditorium. The pageant is open to five counties and six age divisions.
Be sure to attend a production of "The Nutcracker" at the BLY Fine Arts Theatre on Main Street in Eupora. Performances will be Dec. 4 at 10:30 a.m. and Dec. 5 at 2 p.m. Tickets will be $10.
Don't miss the historic Eupora Christmas Parade and the lighting of the Christmas tree in the Eupora Depot Park at 5 p.m. Dec. 4.
