The Eupora Police Department arrested Reggie Scotty Sudduth on May 4 for the sale of crack cocaine.

The sale took place at 319B S. Dunn St. on Feb. 28, according to the police affidavit filed against him. Police Chief Gregg Hunter said numerous complaints have been received regarding this particular apartment.

Sudduth, 19, is being held in the Webster County Jail on a $20,000 bond on the charge. However, the Choctaw County Sheriff's Department has placed a "hold" on him, according to jail records.

"Drugs are a problem we take very seriously," Hunter stated. "Over the past 18 months the Eupora Police Department has arrested 28 people for the sale of illegal drugs and arrested some 20 people for possession of illegal drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

"As chief of police I would like to thank the public for your concern and encourage you to continue to call us if you suspect illegal activity in your neighborhood. Your call will be kept confidential."
