VFW bingo

VFW Post 3806 bingo supervisor Toby Jones announces that no bingo will be played Dec. 23 so that members may spend Christmas with their families. Bingo will resume on Dec. 30 at 6 p.m.

Blood drive

United Blood Services will conduct a blood drive Dec. 29 in Eupora.

The bloodmobile will be parked at North Mississippi Medical Center-Eupora from 1-6 p.m.

New Year's Eve dance

Eupora VFW Post 3806 will have a New Year's Eve dance featuring the Muddy River Band.

The dance will start at 8 p.m. Dec. 31 with a $10 cover charge per person. "Come out and help us ring in the new year."

Sewing machine classes to be offered

Hawkeye Glove Manufacturing, Inc., in association with Holmes Community College and the Webster County Career and Technology Center, is now offering employment and training to learn to sew on commercial sewing machines.

Ask about immediate openings. Classes will be filled as quickly as possible.

Hawkeye Glove Manufacturing, Inc., will be hiring approximately 75 new sewing operators.
