Get ready Eupora.
You asked for it, you got it. Freedom Fest, the event of the summer, will be Saturday, June 30, at Whites Creek Lake, locally known as Eupora Lake.
This annual event is sponsored by Eupora Arts Inc. and the entertainment is furnished by Don Pounds Music Arts.
Since this is an election year, candidates will be speaking throughout the evening.
Lineup of entertainers will be announced later, but a hint of what's to come: Performance by Survivor Records' first recording artist and at least a dozen more entertainers and personalities, all first-class acts.
Come out and listen to your favorite candidate explain why he or she should be elected to office.
Music, public speakers, food, vendors of arts and crafts, and much more: Freedom Fest is coming.
