City police officers arrested a man Monday on felony drug charges.
In a release issued Tuesday, the Eupora Police Department said Officer Mitch Jackson arrested Bobby Earl Johnson, 37, while on Meadowlane Drive in Eupora. The Police Department stated that Johnson was in possession of approximately 5 grams of crack cocaine and the prescription narcotic hydrocodone.
Jackson also seized $317 in cash. Officer Charles Morton assisted him in the arrest.
Johnson has been charged with possession of a controlled substance (crack cocaine) and possession of a controlled substance (hydrocodone), all with intent to distribute and within 1,500 feet of Webster Care Learning Center.
He was also charged with driving while license suspended and expired tag. Johnson is being held in the Webster County Jail.
