She was retired and a member of West Shady Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Dean loved to fish. She was a loving and kind mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Survivors include three daughters, Marguerite Lewis and husband, Pat, Diane Buford Reed and husband, Ray, and Tracie Mitchell and husband, Tim, all of Eupora; one son, Tony Hester of Eupora; four sisters, Cleo Hester of Walthall, Tincie Fulgham of Eupora, Agnes Vance of Slate Springs and Marzell Cobb of Hazelhurst; one brother, Bussie Fulgham of Maben; nine grandchildren, Lisa Lewis Spradlin and husband, Carl, and Lacy Lewis of West Virginia., Josh Buford and wife, Samantha, of Mathiston, Clint Hester, Mia Hester Pogue and husband, David, Madison Hester, Seth Mitchell, Haley Mitchell Smith and husband, Brian, and Caitlyn Mitchell, all of Eupora; an adopted grandchild, Lauren Lusk of Eupora; seven great-grandchildren, Regan Williams, Blake Williams, Tristen Mckee, Alex Lewis and Marli Williams, all of West Virginia, Caitlyn Hester of New Hope and Chloe Grace Smith of Eupora; several nieces and nephews; and her best friend and life partner, Sammy Smith.
Services were Sept. 2 at Wise Funeral Home in Eupora with the Revs. Coy Fulgham and Johnny Lollar officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mike Boykin, Calvin Brooks, Randy Brooks, Brandon Cobb, Cody Hester and Jimmy Hester.
