Ricky Lynn James, 45, of Mathiston died Dec. 1, 2007, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 13, 1962, in Oktibbeha County. Mr. James, who was disabled, was a member of Maben Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include his mother, Edna Jean James of Mathiston; his father, Richard James of Mathiston; a daughter, Chastity James Swindle and husband, John, of Mathiston; two sisters, Debbie Hawes and husband, Buddy, of Eupora, and Joy Ann Sutherland of Vardaman; and a grandson, Carson Grant Swindle of Mathiston.
Services were Dec. 4 at Maben Church of God of Prophecy with the Revs. Skeet Davis and Greg Chambley officiating. Burial was in Double Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Billy Joe Barnett, Guy Barnett, Chad Garrard, Eric Hawes, Mykel Hawes and Matt Jenkins.
Honorary pallbearers were Joe Eric Byars and Larry Fason.
Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora was in charge of arrangements.
