Quick Bites programs

The Mississippi State University Extension Service is offering Quick Bites programs from noon-1 p.m. each Thursday in October. The programs provide timely information on a wide variety of topics through interactive video.

Mariah Smith, instructor, computer applications and services, MSU-ES, will present the Oct. 2 program: "It's a Snap: Making Picture-Perfect Holiday Cards."

In this class, you'll learn tips and tricks to taking great holiday shots of your family. Once we have the perfect shot, you'll learn how to upload and use online photo services (like Walmart and Walgreens) to print Christmas cards with your families' photo so friends and family can see how much everyone has grown in the past year.

Susan Cosgrove, area family resource management agent, MSU-ES, will present the Oct. 9 program: "Financial Management: Sorting Out Mortgage Issues." Mortgage issues are dominating the news today and knowing what to do can be very confusing. This program will assist in answering some of those questions for you.

All classes will be held at the Webster County Extension Office. So bring your lunch and join others for a Quick Bite. Call 258-3971 for more information.
