Services for William Mart Salley Jr., 47, of Eupora were Nov. 3, 2008, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora with the Revs. James Hill and Dan Beardain officiating. Burial was in Edgeworth Cemetery.

Mr. Salley was born April 11, 1961, in West Point. He was District 2 supervisor for Webster County and a member of Eupora Church of Christ. Mr. Salley died Oct. 31, 2008, at his residence.

Survivors include his wife, Ruthie McCain Salley; his parents, Red and Pudge Salley; one daughter, Brandi Salley; one son, Chip Salley, all of Eupora; one sister, Michelle Salley Crowley of Nettleton; and two brothers, Ken Salley of Jackson and Peter Salley of Eupora.

Pallbearers were Gary Gardner, Danny Hubbard, Lonnie Hubbard, Jack Huffman, Cory McCain, Lance Rowe and Cyril Salley.

Honorary pallbearers were the Webster County Board of Supervisors, Russ Turner and the District 2 road staff.
