Eminent domain

reform initiative

Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation is sponsoring an initiative to get eminent domain reform on the November 2011 ballot. This initiative would give the voter the ability to limit the government’s use of eminent domain authority by preventing government takings of private property for non-public projects. Ninety thousand signatures are needed to get this initiative on the ballot.

Those interested in giving voters the opportunity to end eminent domain abuse should go by the Farm Bureau office in Eupora to sign the initiative.
