Bellefontaine

Methodist

Join Bellefontaine Methodist Church for a Vacation Bible School program that is a little different. This year's event includes an adults' class.

"Baobab Blast: God's Great Get-Together, " which began July 28, continues July 29 and 30 at 6 nightly.

Participants will gather in the sanctuary briefly, then share a kid-friendly supper each night before learning more about what God has to say about living together in a community.

Reed's Chapel

Reed's Chapel Baptist Church, Stewart, will have a Call to Prayer service on July 29 at 6:30 p.m. "We invite you to come join us in prayer for our nation, our state and our schools." Refreshments will be served.

Old Mount

Pisgah Baptist

Homecoming at Old Mount Pisgah Baptist Church is Aug. 1. The Rev. Larry Collum will be bringing the message. Services start at 11 a.m.

Maben COGOP

The Browning Family of Elrod, Ala., will be in concert at Maben Church of God of Prophecy at 6 p.m. Aug. 1.

W. Shady Grove

West Shady Grove will have revival Aug. 1-4 with the Rev. Robert Earl Alexander bringing the message at 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. weekdays. Refreshments will follow Wednesday night services. For more information call the Rev. Josh Bingham at 310-6238.

Mathiston United Methodist

Mathiston United Methodist Church on Hwy. 15 South will host a revival Aug. 1-4 at 7 each night. The speaker will be the Rev. Owen Gordon Jr., pastor of the DeKalb Circuit, DeKalb.

Grove Chapel

Grove Chapel M.B. Church, Maben, will have revival services Aug. 2-6. Services start at 7 each night. The Rev. Curtis Wordlaw, pastor of Good Hope M.B. Church, will be the guest speaker for the week.

Peter's Rock COGIC

Peter's Rock Church of God in Christ, Starkville, will have a back-to-school revival Aug. 3-4 at 7 p.m. Evangelist Charmayne Mayowa of Tuscaloosa, Ala., will be the guest speaker. A youth showcase will be at 6 nightly. The church is located at 223 Martin Luther King Drive.
