Story Hour

Story Hour at the Maben Public Library is every Friday at 10 a.m. Come enjoy stories, music and other fun learning experiences for ages 3 to 6.

VFW cakewalk

Joe H. Morehead Ladies Auxiliary will be having a cake and miscellaneous walk Aug. 14 at 3 p.m. at the post home on VFW Road in Eupora. All proceeds will benefit auxiliary projects for its new auxiliary year. "Please come out and help support our veterans as we continue to support them."

Bingo at VFW

Bingo will be 6 p.m. Saturday at VFW Post 3806 in Eupora.

Sherwood singing

Sherwood Community Center will have a gospel singing Aug. 14 at 7 p.m. It will feature the Heartmen Quartet, Unit Four Quartet and Faithful Sound.

A love offering will be received for the groups singing. Call 418-6454 for more information.

Storytime

Storytime at Webster County Library is Mondays at 10 a.m. Children 3-6 are invited to come for stories, songs and fun with Miss Pat and Miss Dot.

Tea Party

The Webster County Tea Party will meet Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. at the Eupora Community Center. This is a non-partisan organization.

All concerned citizens and voters (Republicans, Democrats, Independents) are welcome

Play auditions

Auditions for "Lion and Mouse Stories" are Aug. 20 and 21 at the BLY Fine Arts Center in Eupora at 6:30 p.m. for ages 7-20. "No need to have anything prepared. We just need big smiles."

Webster Writers

The Webster Writers will meet at 2 p.m. Aug. 21 at the BLY Fine Arts Center in downtown Eupora. Participants will discuss their writing goals and discuss current projects. They will be focusing only on individual goals, not group projects at this time.
