Story Hour at the Maben Public Library is every Friday at 10 a.m. Come enjoy stories, music and other fun learning experiences for ages 3 to 6.
Bingo at VFW
Bingo will be 6 p.m. Saturday at VFW Post 3806 in Eupora.
Gospel concert
Sherwood Community Center will have a Southern gospel concert at 7 p.m. Aug. 28 featuring the Wells Brothers of Noxapater plus Delores and Gloria Marie of Oxford.
A love offering will be received for the groups singing. The center is located on Highway 15 four miles south of Mathiston. Call 418-6454 for more information.
Storytime
Storytime at Webster County Library is Mondays at 10 a.m. Children 3-6 are invited to come for stories, songs and fun with Miss Pat and Miss Dot.

Circuit Clerk Deborah Hood Neal announces that the deadline to qualify for the Webster County School Board, districts 1 and 2, will be Sept. 3 at 5 p.m.

annual meeting
The Tomnolen Water Association's annual meeting will be Sept. 7 at 6 p.m. at the Tomnolen Fire Department.
Wood College
transcripts
Wood College student transcripts are now being administered by Millsaps College in Jackson.
Former Wood College students can obtain information on how to request a transcript from the Millsaps College website at Millsaps.edu. They need to specify Wood College transcript on their request.
